Figures are quite rare in the corpus of the Southeast Asian artefacts.
This fragmented yet large example was purportedly found in the area of Mukdahan, Northeast of Thailand.
It has an oval-shaped head, a rope-like belt, armbands and spiral ornaments typical of the material culture of Ban Chiang.
There is an attachment ring on the back of the head.
