This oustanding Mezcala figure, once part of the prestigious Jaffe-Annenberg collection, belongs to the "M-24" style as defined in the classification established by Carlo Gay.
Certainly one of the most beautiful sculptures from this corpus, if not an ultimate masterpiece.
